Aaron Sedrick Rawlins, after working as a chef in renowned restaurants in Paris and Copenhagen, moved to Georgia to make wine. His interest in ungrafted high altitude volcanic soils brought him to Armenia where he began making wine in 2016 in the village of Aghavnadzor in the Vayots Dzor wine region in Central Armenia. The vineyards are over 2000 m in elevation and the vines are over 150 years old. The vines had been abandoned for the past 30 years. Zero sulphur. Areni red grape
