'FRED' = Friendly Red. A funky, earthy medium-bodied red that's a blend of two obscure eastern European grapes: Dunaj (a cross of Portugieser and Sankt Laurent) and Albibernet (a cross between Alicante Bouschet + Cabernet Sauvignon). Bursting with crunchy red and blue fruit, with a hint of smoke and spice. This wine has a nervy energy that gives it an almost electric quality.
